1. Argan Oil Shampoo and Hair Conditioner Set – Argan Jojoba Almond Oil Peach Kernel Keratin – Sulfate Free – For All Hair Types

Update: This set of shampoo and conditioner have now a new emballage but it is still the same product.

The first best shampoo for keratin treated hair, has also argan oil on its compositions. Guys, I love argan oil, it’s one type of oil that you can always find in my beauty bag.

But I say this because argan oil really works. It doesn’t matter the brand. Of course there are brands that are best but anything with argan oil will help your hair to some extent.

In this case it’s not different. I have read the best reviews for this shampoo and I put it on my wish list!

According to most reviews, it will leave your hair shiny and hydrated. It claims also to rejuvenate the hair, so must be great for long hair as well.

Another thing that made me like it is because avocado oil and Jojoba resembling sebum meaning will be a good idea for dry hairs.

Here are some other characteristics that make this one of the tops:

– It SAFE if you have sensitive skin. The formula of this shampoo (and also the conditioner) is hypoallergenic and fragrance free and no artificial colors are added.

– silk protein & phytokeratin promote Nourishment for hairs including damaged curly or frizzy hair

– It can be a great treatment for stopping hair loss once it moisturizes and cleans out hair follicles.

My Review

This shampoo took a little less longer than the previous one, for me to start seeing results. Hair was bouncing and shiny so I liked it a lot.

Argan Oil Shampoo and Hair Conditioner Set - Argan Jojoba Almond Oil Peach Kernel Keratin - Sulfate Free - For All Hair Types

Have noticed as a well a great reduction of frizz, even though not completely, but the effects were there. So in this quest, I can say I was pretty happy.

As I have voluminous hair, I noticed that it got even more voluminous. It’s alright tho, as I still liked how it looked like.

Another thing that I liked about this shampoo is how it makes it easy to untangle the hair.

As I felt my hair really soft, I can start untangling with the fingers in the shower and then with a comb.

I also did the 8h pre-shampoo oil treatment before washing my hair with this shampoo and have also noticed the results were enhanced.

I tried this shampoo with and without conditioner and a hair treatment mask and the results got even better, as I expected.

The way I used it is pretty much like I explained already and will repeat here for a recap:

I gently massage the scalp and instead of circular motion, I move my fingers back and forth. Then I wait around 3 minutes and rinse again.

As I have too dry hair,  I prefer to use a type of conditioner and hair treatment mask after I wash my hair, as I feel that this helps improve my hair condition.

  1. SAFE AND EFFECTIVE for sensitive skin
  2. Serve for all hair types including curly, frizzy and colored hair
  3. It is sulfate free paraben free & silicone free
  4. Help Stopping hair loss
  6. Promotes hair growth

  1. Some people do not like the smell even if the producer says it’s fragrance free
  2. It will work better on fine, not so voluminous hair
  3. Some people with very dry hair might not feel any improvement of the hair
  4. When used in excess the results might be reversed. So, try to use it intercalated with other shampoos (use with moderation)

2. Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner SLS Sulfate Free Organic Gift Set – Safe Keratin Treated Hair

Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner SLS Sulfate Free Organic Gift Set - Safe Keratin Treated Hair

Our second Best Shampoo For Keratin Treated Hair is Another Argan oil product for us (I told you Argan oil rocks).

This one is hydrating and nourishing as well, but there is something very interesting that I have never seen before. It contains UV and thermal protectant action. I am shocked! It also has vitamins and antioxidants.

Now, that being said, this must be great for you who loves styling the hair with the heat.

It claims to be good for all hair types as well including colored and keratin treated hair, which might be your case, if you are reading this article.

Now coming for what interests us the most, doesn’t contain sulfates, Parabens, Sodium Chloride, Gluten or Phothalates.

Meaning, it will not leave your scalp itchy, nor will provoke skin or scalp irritation, hair loss and damage. So they say this product is natural and free of harsh chemicals.

Another thing I should mention here is that it is powerful on frizzy control. It will also be a good idea for curly hair and voluminous hair, as it will be effective on volume control.

  1. Contains UV and thermal protectant action
  2. Nourishes damaged hair
  3.  Volume control
  4. Doesn’t contain sulfates, Parabens, Sodium Chloride, Gluten or Phothalates
  5. It  preserves keratin treatment

  1. Not good for very oily hair
  2. Some people reported not to like the smell
  3. People seem to have problems with the pump bottle

Our next Best Shampoo For Keratin Treated Hair has Organic Moroccan Oil as its main ingredient. It claims to be a very gentle nourishing shampoo and is indicated for all hair types, especially for those hairs in need of extra care as in the case of keratin-treated hair.

I will have three reasons why I have picked this one as the tops of the tops:

Argan Oil to the rescue

Argan Oil is great to help keep or restore the hair, as well as help it grow faster and healthier. If you have dry and damaged hair, or just want to keep a great hair, this will be your ally.

If you like to style your hair with blow dry and flat iron, you should also prefer something like that to wash your hair, because this shampoo will also restore your hair from heat damage.

My review

ArtNaturals Organic Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner Set - Sulfate Free - Infused with Keratin

After using this shampoo for two months, I have noticed that my hair started to gradually get better, but it was not overnight.

The progress starts to build up slowly, so it’s good to stick with the treatment and be patient so you can start to see plausible results.

I have also noticed this shampoo when I apply olive oil in my hair 2 to 8  hours before washing. Actually this trick works well with any shampoo.

I don’t know if you have heard about this kind of oil treatment. The idea is to soak the hair with oil, in my case I use extra virgin olive oil (the ones from the kitchen).

Be sure you do not use too much oil, but still, it’s good to apply enough oil to have the hair very oily but not too soaked.

As I said, every time I do this oil treatment the night before shampooing, it works a lot and hair gets amazing, no matter what shampoo you use.

If you don’t  want to spend 8 hours with the oil on your head, you can wait 2 hours and then you can proceed normally to your washing time.

This step is completely optional and as I said doesn’t need to be done with this shampoo in particular, but it did help this shampoo, as after washing my hair was great.

The situation of my hair:

My hair is very dry. I am most of the time styling it with a flat iron because of volume and frizz.

I am not saying that this shampoo got rid of all my frizz and volume as I feel that this gets the best control when I use the flat iron and straighten it.

But there are times that I just don’t care that much about my hair being straight and I just want to leave it as it is.

When that happens, I normally need to keep my hair tied up and even like that, the frizz is so evident that I feel as if I am the sun and my frizzes are the rays going all directions.

That shampoo helped control around 60% of my frizz and I noticed my hair was softer. I have to say that in addition to the oil tip I gave you, there are some other things you can do to maximize results.

One tip is to use a conditioner. When I do it, almost 99% of the time I have a better and optimized result.

Try to use a proper conditioner for dry hair. I like one from Biolage Oil Mitic, that me and my mom are in love at the moment.

The other tip is to have in your bathroom a special hair mask for your hair time, as 99% of the time, a high quality mascara will leave your hair much softer.

I am very in love with the Keune Keratin mask and have been using this one for a month now. Nothing to complain, just goodies.

The way I wash

I dilute the shampoo with a little water. I always do that because I feel it is less abrasive. This shampoo won’t lather too much so don’t worry, it’s still doing its job.

I gently massage the scalp and instead of circular motion, I move my fingers back and forth. Then I wait around 3 minutes and rinse again.

As I have too dried hair,  I prefer to use a type of conditioner and hair treatment mask after I wash my hair, as I feel that this helps improve my hair condition.

The cons

The cons about this shampoo in my opinion is that it took a while for me start seeing the results. But the result is good, so far.

4. HASK KERATIN PROTEIN Shampoo and Conditioner Set Smoothing – Color safe, gluten-free, sulfate-free, paraben-free

OK! OK! Our fourth Best shampoo for keratin treated hair is not an argan oil product this time, but it is still great in my opinion (and has thousands of great reviews out there).

This might be very special for damaged, over processed hair and some people call it a “miracle” that will restore and strengthen parched frizzy hair, especially curly hair.

HASK KERATIN PROTEIN Shampoo and Conditioner Set Smoothing - Color safe, gluten-free, sulfate-free, paraben-free

This shampoo is infused with hydrolyzed keratin, a great agent for frizzy reduction and blocking humidity.

  • Frizz reduction
  • gently cleansing
  • leaves even unruly hair softer and shinier

  • It is not very easy to spread on the hair
  • People have complained about the small
  • Can be  To heavy for fine hair

5. Pantene, Shampoo and Sulfate Free Conditioner Kit, Paraben and Dye Free, Pro-V Blends, Soothing Rose Water Review

This is a premium shampoo that I simply love. This shampoo can be used on keratin treated hair and any other hair that needs an extra touch of care.

This version is sulfate free so you can be assured that it won’t hair your keratin treatment. For better results, you can use the conditioner of the same line.

This sulfate-free shampoo that contains Pro-V nutrient combined with rose extract is a good option for your keratin treated hair, because it provides a very gentle treatment, leaving even dry and damaged hair softer and smooth.

If combined with its conditioner (that’s also sulfate-free) you’ll notice your hair more malleable, easier to detangle, and more hydrated.

This Pantene shampoo is not only sulfate-free, but also paraben free, there are no dyes in the composition, no mineral oils and silicone free.

Some people have complained about the package. To be more specific people have complained about the pump, but they love the smell.

In a nutshell, here’s what to expect from Pantene rose water:

  • Great smell and stays on the hair for 2 or 3 days
  • Soft hydrated hair
  • Gentle nourishment
  • Makes detangling easier
  • To have potentialized results, use with the conditioner that comes with the shampoo kit.

6. Free & Clear Hair Shampoo Fragrance, Gluten and Sulfate Free For Sensitive Skin Review (For Oily / Very Oily Hair)

I really like the concept of the Free & Clear Hair Shampoo. It is Fragrance-free, Gluten-free and Sulfate-Free, designed especially for Sensitive Skin, but of course can be used on all hair types, including keratin treated hair.

I know this is the least important thing, but I also like the bottle a lot. It reminds me of a clean product that is natural. At least that’s how I feel when I look at it.

This shampoo lives more on a strict side, for those who want to make sure that is buying something natural, extremely gently.

In the case you have sensitive scalp, you will love it. As you will see on the package, it clearly states that this shampoo is free from dyes, has no fragrance, no masking fragrance, it’s PH balanced and dermatologically tested.

Here’s the full list

  • Sulfate-free
  • Dye Free, fragrance-free, masking fragrance-free lanolin-free, parabens-free, formaldehyde-free and other preservatives that can cause irritation
  • Phosphate-free
  • Protein-Free
  • Gluten-free

This shampoo can be used on all hair types, but specially for those with sensitive scalp and dry hair, because its formula contains oil control agents.

The hair will get clean and easy to detangle, and you can experience it becoming shinier. But it is not nourishing hair shampoo.

It will work great with your keratin-treated hair because it has no harsh ingredients and will help you maintain your treatment but it washes and that’s all.

For the cons, many people have reported that this shampoo is difficult to spread, making you have to use a lot of product until you feel your hair is clean.

For this reason you will need (in most cases), to use this shampoo in conjunction with a conditioner, deep conditioner and / or a very moisturizing hair mask.

That being said, use this product if your hair and scalp tend to get very oily, itchy or irritated because it will nourish your scalp but will leave your hair dry if you already have dry hair.

7. Redken Color Extend Magnetics Shampoo | For Color-Treated Hair Review

Now I bring to you an option for those with colored hair (we cannot forget about you!). The Redken Color Extend Magnetics Shampoo can also be a great option for you after performing a keratin blow out.

I am saying this because it is sulfate free, non stripping and light weight shampoo, helps seal the colour while leaving it smooth, nourished and strong.

Pretty much as any other shampoo, the results will be potentialized by the sulfate free hair mask from the same line.

Can be used on all hair types, but use it only if you dye your hair frequently or not, to enhance shine, prevent colour to fade and maintain hair color for longer.
