CHANEL Hand Cream Review: La Crème Main

The Chanel hand cream has quite a few nicknames. You might be able to find it as the Chanel Hand Cream Egg or la Creme mains hand cream.

This is a very luxurious hand cream by Chanel (as usual) and therefore very expensive. It costed me 58 Euros for a small egg snapped squeezer that fits on my hand.

Many would wonder why buying something so expensive as there are many hand creams out there at a much lower price that will do the job just well.

But if you are suffering from dry hands, stick with this article and you will understand why the channel hand cream is worthy every sent and I am not exaggerating.

Another consideration I am stating here is that I have tried myself the cream, as I bought it and will be sharing here my honest review on how is that.

But before moving on, I would like to invite you to connect via Instagram! There we can chit chat and I will love to get to know you!

Without further do, let’s get started!

Chanel Hand Cream Review

Chanel Hand cream is a luxury moisturizing with brightening ingredients that will protect your hands and nails.

Their main differential in my opinion is their claim that chanel la creme mais was Formulated to absorb quickly into skin.

You can use it as much as you want and it will not leave your skin sticky nor uncomfortable.

According to tests performed by Chanel, it was proved that the Chanel egg hand cream does the following:

The cream leaves skin 40%* more protected and 45% more hydrated**; nail strength is significantly improved by 70%**

And we will discuss later if this is true or not. I have been using this cream for one year now, so this is not based on a first impression.

Chanel hand cream egg Review: The Package

Chanel Hand Cream Review

I think it comes with an interesting egg shape. It has pos and cons and I will share here with you.

First, It is use to carry on everywhere. It will be easy to leave in your bag and use it on the go.

The egg shaped squeeze tube looks very luxurious and practical but in my opinion, it is a little hard to squeeze. So that might be something for their improvement list.

However, it might have a reason. This might be the a way they found to make it also an economical, as when you squeeze, only a little amount of the product will come out avoiding waste.

Chanel Hand Cream Texture Review

Chanel hand cream has a very light texture. This is the lightest weight cream I have put my hands on and the most powerful I have tried. It has a very comforting effect and is super easy to spread.

Is it quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving it greasy?

Chanel is really meaning it when they say their formula will be quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving it greasy.

I was very impressed as I have never had this experience before. A small amount of the cream is enough and it feels like magic.

You apply the cream and boom, skin gets super hydrated, with a
velvet touch.

The cream is so absorbed that feels like you have just applied nothing. Your skin will not feel sticky nor greasy nor anything similar to that.

Is Chanel Hand cream Regenerating and brightening?

From the regenerating part, absolutely yes. I have very dry hands and a while ago, I have had a very annoying allergy that had trying many different hand creams from cheap to high end.

This is so far the more regenerating cream I have ever tried and the one that I will probably be purchasing over and over.

About the brightening part, what does that really mean? It is not clear for me what do they mean with brightening.

They say that it can prevent dark spots. Then it will also brighten dark spots? But if the intention is that, I did notice any of these features on my skin.

However, it gets my hand a very healthy looking and gives it an instantaneous glow.

Is Chanel hand cream Hydrating and softening?

This is a very hydrating and softening hand cream. So far, the best one I have ever tried to fix my dry hands.

The best part of it is that it lasts very long meaning this is not one of those creams you have to be applying all the time.

One little amount of it and I can feel my hand hydrated for days.

Can it be considered a treatment cream?

I would say so. The treatment effects you can see gradually at the pace you continue to use the cream.

I take my own experience for example, after a year of use, the cream is still not finished, because with the time you will feel like your skin will need less and less of the product.

Meaning that your skin gets treated to the point that you will spend a week or more time without having the need to apply anything on it.

Is it good for the nails and cuticles?

Chanel hand cream worked really well to my nails and cuticles. As mentioned before, it was a great treatment.

At the second you use it, it will not only work on your hand but also your nails will feel better at the same time.

Once again I repeat. It was one of the best products I purchased, no regrets at all.

Is it worth the price?

Chanel Hand cream is a high end product and so is the price. Depending on where you live, it can cost between 50 to 58 Euros.

At first sight it can be considered a a very expensive hand cream for a very small bottle. I surely thought it too and bought it just to test and see what happened.

I was really surprised with the results and do not regret my acquisition. I am actually glad I had found this product.

It is worth buying as well, because it takes forever. All you need is a very small amount of the product and its treatment features will provide you with an amazing hand skin even if you do not use the products for weeks.

Chanel Hand Cream Review Final conclusions

This is a very impressive hand cream. I was amazed with the results. Here I am listing all the key benefits and features that I have noticed:

  • I love the velvet touch feeling it leaves
  • You only need a little amount of the product and it is enough to deliver the best results

  • Should have at least some degree of sunscreen factor
  • Should have some kind of anti ageing properties
