In this Chanel le volume révolution de Chanel mascara review, I am sharing my experience after using it for several days!
So, let’s begin with the Chanel le volume révolution de Chanel mascara review!
I was really excited to buy the le volume révolution de Chanel because even though my lashes are long, I tend to like a more dramatic look from time to time.
By the time I wrote this review, I had been using the le volume révolution de Chanel and can say that it is a good product, but is it really worth the price?
About The Chanel Le Volume Révolution De Chanel Mascara Review
This mascara, as the name says, is designed to improve your lash length and volume.
It has a wand that was printed in 3D with the effort to provide you with the best user experience while giving you the full lashes you love.
Also, by printing 3D mascaras, it is possible to add more details to the brush.
The fabricants can plan to create all wands the same, which is impossible in traditional mascara wands manufacturing.
It is an excellent modern way to make the product more cost-effective and have more control over the final shape and function of the wand.
The final result is a brush with a honeycomb structure that helps you achieve great lashes with one stroke.
On the Chanel website, they said you should be able to notice significant results from the first layer of the application.
I agree, but I have a few considerations to share. Let’s dive in.
Here I applied Two Layers
It contains a wax-based formula that provides “volume, density, and separation.”
Apart from that, there is not much on the website, so I guess there won’t be anything extra special about the composition of this eyelash mascara.
My Chanel Le Volume Révolution De Chanel Mascara Review
I paid 38 Euros for the Channel mascara, expecting a long-lasting and perfect finish since the first application.
The package is simple and minimalist, which doesn’t matter, but I was expecting more from such a high-end brand.
However, Chanel is quite minimalist, so there is nothing more to expect here; I will focus on the mascara’s quality.
The 3D Wand
There is so much fuzz about the 3D mascara, which I understand they are partially right about it, but there are a few considerations to share about it.
I didn’t think it was any easier to apply than any other mascaras (I still believe that the most ergonomic mascara is the Lancome Swan Neck).
I feel they are a bit too thick, which is slightly hard to apply on the lower lash, but I won’t complain because it won’t be a big deal; with some care, you can do it fine.
You will definitely manage to apply it on the button lashes with a bit of precision.
However, I totally agree when they say that you should achieve great lashes since the first stroke.
I don’t need to apply a second layer because the lashes pop up immediately.
Practicality On Application
I need to add this section here because applying is not very practical.
Because the wand is a bit thick, I have to be careful that I don’t make my skin around the eye area dirty.
Also, it is a bit hard to apply it from the roots of the lash, forcing us to use the tip of the want for that area.
The problem with this is that if you use the tip on the vertical, you need to be careful the lashes won’t stick closer.
However, you should not have this problem if you use it horizontally or on a diagonal.
Maybe I am a bit biased because I prefer very thin mascaras wands. But I also understand that thick wands would bring a fuller finish.
Nonetheless, none of that represents a real problem as these are things that are just details if the mascara does a good job.
Lash Lenght & Volume
On the Left, with the mascara X On the right without it
I Totally Agree that the lashes get fuller and more voluminous from the first application, but it does not get dramatic since the first application, which I am fine with.
If I want a really dramatic look, I need to apply from two to three layers, and the good news is that the lashes will stay separate.
Additionally, I must mention that the lashes look absolutely gorgeous and, to be honest, one of the most beautiful effects I have had from mascaras lately.
As much as I loved the looks this mascara gave to my eyelash, I must say I didn’t think it corresponded to my expectations regarding durability.
And by durability, I am not saying that the mascara just faded away; no, it is not that.
I know this is not waterproof mascara, but I went out for almost 5 hours, and when I got back home, I noticed the following:
- The eyelash makeup had run down, and I have to say it gave me a slight panda effect.
- It was not exactly like a panda, but it ran down a bit on a sunny day, and my under eyes got a bit of it.
- Also, I noticed dark spots around the eye area from the mascara.
For the price, I was a bit disappointed with this because I have tried other mascaras that were not waterproof, and still, it didn’t occur.
This is a pity because of this mascara’s stunning effect on the lashes. So, I continue using it because it still looks great.
Removing The Mascara
The mascara is easy to remove, especially if you have an eye makeup remover, which I recommend.
Then I wash it with facial soap, and it is really easy to remove it all without leaving any product left.
Does Not Cause Allergy
I have sensitive skin; in the past, some products may cause my eyes to be watery and itchy.
However, I don’t have this problem with the Chanel le volume révolution de Chanel mascara.
Chanel Le Volume Révolution De Chanel Mascara Review Conclusion
This is my honest Chanel le volume révolution de Chanel mascara review; as you can see, there are pros and cons.
- This is one of the most beautiful looks/effects I have ever had from mascara.
- It brings beautiful lashes with just one stroke, adding length and natural volume, and does a great job at separating my lashes.
- It didn’t cause an allergy.
- The version I used is not waterproof, so it ran down a bit after long hours, and I noticed some black spots around the eye skin (eyelids, under eyes)
Overall, I liked the product and, of course, will continue using it till the end.
I am unsure if I’d purchase it again because it leaves me with dark circles (maybe due to my oily skin).
In terms of prettiness, the lashes get really gorgeous, and if you usually don’t have a running makeup problem, you will definitely love it!
