Dior Lip Glow Review: Dior addict lip glow is the first color reviver balm by Dior.
They promise to combine a relief that we expect from a lip balm and enhance lip color at the same time.
The result should be a plumped, hydrated, feeling healthy, naturally colored lip.
That’s quite a lot to promise, but as it comes from Dior, we give it a hint of hope that lips will be unique just with a layer or two of Dior Addict Lip Glow.
You will find out more in this Dior Lip Glow Review.
And Dior Lip Glow should work, especially after realizing I spent more than 100 Euros buying two from the variety of shades offered. But, do they?
If you are a big fan of high-end makeup jungles and have dried lips, you won’t judge me for INVESTING my coins on that, LOL.
I started a saga of testing high-end lip balms to see if they are worth the hive.
Stay tuned because I will share some other brand reviews with you soon.

Dior Lip Glow Review: Dior’s Tinted Lip balm Fun Facts
In this Dior Lip Glow Review, I must mention a few things. Dior Addict Lip Glow family is divided into three groups.
In their own words, Dior says that from the addict lip balms, you can expect three types of finishes.
- Original Glow: As the name says leaves a touch of glossy, luminous appearance on your lips that gives you a rosy tint effect and shine
- Matte Glow: Gives you a velvety, matte finish. They are supposed to Hydrate and nourish the lips.
- Holographic Glow: This one has the same traits as the previous ones but will also provide a glow finish to enhance the lips (I didn’t get the difference, but anyway…)
Dior Lip Glow Review: How To Use Dior’s Tinted Lip balm?
You might be asking me, what? Is there a technique to apply Dior Lip Glow Review lip balm?
Well, not really, but I did some tricks that optimized the results that I would like to share with you, and it is straightforward.
In this Dior Lip Glow Review, I am going to tell you that you only need two steps, but that makes a real difference:
- Apply a transparent lip balm a little bit (especially if you are getting the matte version) as a primer
- If you are using the original glow, in addition to a more moist lip balm as a foundation, use a little bit of pink lipstick if you want to have a perfect natural pink (just lightly tap it on the lips)
- Apply the lip glow, and the effect will be a tremendous no-makeup makeup look.
You might be questioning, wow, that’s quite a lot for a lip balm, but the effect will be very worth it. Sometimes we have to blend a few things to enhance the final results.
Dior’s Tinted Lip balm: Dior Addict Lip Glow Swatches
Dior Addict Lip Glow counts with eight shades. I love all of them.
I have the Matte Raspberry and the Sheer Ballet Pink. I got this shade grade from Dior’s website:

Needless to say that I want to try all the other shades, so that I will leave them on my wish list.
My favorite ones that I find to be more beautiful are the 007 Raspberry – sheer raspberry and the 010 Holo pink – iridescent light pink.

But the one that is the real winner for me is the 102 Matte Raspberry (on the image above). This is also the one I have, and I love it.
Dior’s Tinted Lip balm Review: My Impressions
As I mention in the video above, If you have dry lips, you will not feel that instant relief that you will desperately need in the first impact in the short term.
However, in the first impact, I noticed that even though I didn’t feel that instant relief, the effect on the lips, was beautiful.
It somehow gives a glow to the lips and keeps with the natural aspect that made me stick with it.
At the peace that I continued using the Dior Addict Lip Glow, I noticed that gradually lips started to feel more hydrated, and I didn’t have to retouch it all the time because the effects lasted.
I am saying this because some lip balms can give you that instant relief, but on the other hand, you need to apply it every 5 minutes, which can be very annoying.
So the Dior Addict Lip Glow was a good idea.
Dior’s Tinted Lip balm First Impressions Highlights
- Do not give instant relief to dehydrated skin.
- Work as if it is treating the lips, and with time, you feel lips softer
- It gives a fantastic effect on how the lips look
- It provides a very natural and beautiful lip color
The Cons of Dior Lip Glow
If you have dry lips, you will need a primer, as I mentioned before.
The primer will help make it softer and leave the lips instantaneously hydrated.
The second thing I would like to mention is that the Matte version is hard to apply.
It does not slide so quickly to the lips and is very dry. I never apply without a primer (meaning another lip balm).
