Restauration: How To Use Olaplex N.0 & N.3 Treatment?

The principal actors of the restoration treatment are the Nº.0 intensive bond building treatment and the Nº.3 Hair Perfector restorative treatment.
We all are exposed to hair damage, even if we don’t have chemically processed hair.
For example, sun, pollution, pool, dust, free radicals in general, heat style, and things like that can break our hair bonds.
For this reason, the restoration treatment is recommended for all hair types, even if your hair is healthy because it will make it look even better.
If your hair is severely damaged, you really need to try this out to have your hair back to “life” again.

Restoration Tips & Best Practice
- Olaplex recommends you apply the N.0 treatment on dry hair. However, if the hair is too dirty for too long, and there are lots of layers of other products, then you can wash your hair. Says Jenifer, Senior Hairdresser, and educator from Olaplex.
- The tip she shares is that if you apply the product and cannot work it through, you may need to wash it before applying.
- While applying the number 0 treatment, just dampen the hair, and ensure not to soak too much product.
- The number 0 is designed to be paired with the number 3 and not used alone.
- But number 3 can be used on its own as a repair treatment for up to 30 minutes if you need more care.
- You can add the Nº.8 bond intense moisture hydrating hair mask to this ritual if you want to boost hydration.
- You can leave the treatments on the hair for longer if you want, as it won’t harm your hair, but the products will stop acting once it is dry.
- You can replace the N.4 shampoo for the N.4C or the N.4P
Hydration: Nº.8 Moisturizing Hydrating Hair Mask

The principal actor of the hydrating treatment is the Nº.8 bond intense moisture hydrating hair mask.
Olaplex N.8 is an intensive moisturizer, very concentrated in which you need just a little product and still have great results.
The mask is very lightweight and Syncs deep into the hair fiber to fix broken bonds, providing moisture and body.
This is one of my favorite masks because I could see how my hair got hydrated quickly and since the first application.
The difference between 0 and 3 is that this is a mask and not a treatment, and you should be able to apply.

How Often To Use?
- Generally speaking, Once a week – You can definitely use it as often as you feel your hair needs it.
Hydration Moisturizing Tips & Best Practice
- As it is a very concentrated product, you just need a little of it. Generally speaking, the amount of the product varies depending on your hair length and volume:
- One pump for fine or shorter hair
- Two pumps for medium hair
- Three pumps for long hair, thick hair
- Before applying the N.8 Mask, remove all excess water from the hair to allow the product to really be absorbed by the hair quickly.
- You don’t have to use the conditioner if you use the N.8 treatment, as it is designed to replace the conditioner. However, I used both together band loved the results.
- You can leave the hair mask on the hair for longer if you want, as it won’t harm your hair, but the products will stop acting once the hair is dry.
- Don’t use the N.8 mask on dry hair.
- Differently from other hair masks, you don’t have to rinse off the N.8 mask as it is ok to leave some product on the hair.
- You can use the N.8 hydrating mask on the same day as you do the N.0 and N.3 treatment ritual.
- You can replace the N.4 shampoo for the N.4C or the N.4P
- It is possible to apply it to the roots as it is a lightweight product
