This IT CC foundation has better coverage than many foundations, and we can consider it full coverage.
The CC+ Cream With SPF 50+ is an excellent option to cover acne scars and rosacea.
You just need to build up your layers.
Is IT CC Foundation Color Corrector & Dark Spot Concealer?
First, let’s recapitulate.
A color-correct cream has the mission to correct issues with your skin tone.
They are very effective in fixing redness, dark spots, dark circles, and other imperfections.
This IT CC foundation does precisely that, and you can use it without a concealer, which is very handy.
In my case, one layer is excellent; I didn’t need to apply an extra concealer.
It Cosmetics CC Cream With SPF Overall Review
The It Cosmetics CC+ Cream With SPF 50+ is terrific for covering pores.
Some makeup will worsen your pores, but this cream didn’t clog the pores.
The duration is significant for normal healthy skin, even though I heard it wouldn’t last too long on oily skin.
I have oily skin, and I had to re-touch once, which makes me prefer the matte oil-free version.
However, it will last longer on colder days because there is less sweat and heat.
I believe anyone can use this IT CC foundation, but it works better for normal to dry skin.
If you have oily skin and use this, you’ll need to apply a loose powder on top.
However, the CC cream IT cosmetics has the matte version for oily skin, which we will talk about in a minute, so keep reading.
- Skin with zero to medium problems will need just one layer and a little bit of the product for a natural look.
- You’ll probably need two layers for Skin with severe redness and other concerns. The good thing is that you probably won’t need a concealer.
- It contains Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract (aloe vera) to treat your skin
How to apply It Cosmetics CC+ Cream With SPF 50+?
Even though they say it also works as a primer, I recommend you still use a dedicated primer for better effects.
In some cases, a primer still helps blend and bring the duration you want.
At the same time, I think that a moisturizer and sunscreen are not needed as they are already in the composition.
Final Thoughts on the Regular It Cosmetics CC+ Cream
Overall I like this CC cream IT cosmetics foundation. I can use it all day without worrying about retouching it too often.
The coverage is excellent and easy to apply.
I cannot say much about the sunscreen property, but it is very moisturizing and feels light and natural on the skin.
- Great coverage
- Good pores coverage
- Good duration
- feels natural and lightweight
- Too glowing for oily skin
- Not so full coverage as said for skin with harsh problems
- It cracks on the eyelid
IT CC Cream Reviews: It Cosmetics CC Cream Matte with SPF 40 Review
IT cosmetics cc cream vs oil free
It comes with most of the benefits of the It Cosmetics CC+ Cream With SPF 50+ with some minors difference such as:
- It Cosmetics CC Cream Matte Reduces shine
- Controls oil for up to 12 hours
If I had to choose one of the three products, I would pick this one, without a doubt. As I am an oily skin lady, this is the one for me.
It CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte with SPF 40 is a Poreless Finish Full Coverage Cream.
It also comes with UVA/UVB Broad Spectrum Physical Sunscreen as a good product.
The IT cosmetics cc cream matte is the same 7 in 1, but it is matte for the oily skin tribe, as the name says.
I don’t need to say that I loved it because I have oily skin.
In addition to that, it is color correcting and anti-aging.
I meant to provide you with complete coverage (and yeah, they do what they say);
I love the idea of having SPF 40 behind it.
While applying, you will notice it is thick, but the application is straightforward.
The result will be matte natural finishing that I enjoyed a lot.
I did not use it with concealer because I didn’t feel the need.
Maybe if you have too dark circles, I advise you to add a concealer to the application.
But for the rest, I believe you won’t need it.
If you have acne and reddish, this will work very well.
The trick is to apply a little extra onto the areas you think need the most, and you will be fine.
This cream can last up to 12 hours. The foundation was still good by the end of the day, so I think the durability is satisfactory.
Another thing to mention is that skin didn’t feel cracked or anything, so I appreciated that.
About the oil control, I liked it, but sometimes I don’t resist and end up using my favorite light cc powder.
The IT CC+ Cream Matte also has anti-aging serum made with hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid, vitamins, and antioxidants, among other ingredients that will help your skin look and feel younger.
It is essential to have some anti-aging products in our routine, even if you are younger because it is a great way to delay and care about expression lines.
This product treats your skin, meaning that the more you use it, the more your skin can benefit over time.
I tested this matte cc+ cream with fingers, foundation brush, and sponge. The deal is that I always think that applications with fingers are great. It usually works well for most products.
But sometimes It depends from time to time. I don’t feel like applying it with my fingers, so I go for a brush or sponge.
The problem is that sometimes, products work better with a brush or with a sponge.
In the case of the matte version, I think it worked well with both sponge and brush as well, but there are a few notes:
- Use a brush if you need more coverage for a night out or taking pics
- For less coverage and a more natural look; I prefer using a wet sponge
Final Thoughts on the It CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte with SPF 40
Overall I like that product more than the first one. I can still use it all day without worrying about retouching it. The coverage is excellent and easier to apply on the matte version.
Once again, I cannot say much about the sunscreen property, but I find it very moisturizing and feels light and natural on the skin.
Which one is best? In my opinion, is the It CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte with SPF 40
It CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte Pos
- Great coverage
- Good pores coverage
- Good duration
- feels natural and lightweight
It CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte Cons
- Not so full coverage for skin with harsh problems
Difference between It Cosmetics CC+ Cream With SPF 50+ and It CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte with SPF 40
Comparing the It CC+ Cream Oil-Free Matte with SPF 40 and the It Cosmetics CC+ Cream With SPF 50+, the main difference is that the matte version is oil-free and will be less glowing.
Most features will remain the same for both creams, such as swatches and pore coverage.
The matte version has slightly better coverage, and I have to admit that I prefer this one over the original version.
The matte version is also easier to apply. I have noticed that as well.
The duration is almost the same. I have not noticed significant differences. It can stay all day long without problems, which is excellent.
Is it a full coverage foundation? Yes, it is, and the final look looks slightly better than the regular version.
IT CC Cream Reviews: IT CC cream illumination with SPF 50+ Review
It Cosmetics Illumination has the same properties and promises like the other creams by IT Cosmetics.
The difference is that, as the name says, it is more glowy and probably more suitable for a heavier and more dramatic makeup style?
What I mean is that this one should be a little more full coverage than the other ones, in my opinion, with the glowy touch you need for an important event and those days you are not interested in the ‘no-makeup makeup look’.
The illumination bit of it is not because it is shimmery or glimmer, but instead, it gives more radiance to the skin, giving it a fresh and healthy look, as if you have just had a finished cleansing section on your skincare routine.
This foundation has much higher coverage than the other ones, but for my oily skin type, I still recommend the matte version of it.
If your skin is normal to dry and has acne scars and some other major and even more serious problems you would like to cover, I believe this one is just for you.
As this cream is the strongest of the other ones, you will need less product. In my case, I applied just a very tiny drop and it was done.
The product is also filled with hydrating anti-aging serum and SPF 50 physical sunscreen, and now comes the fun part, it is said to feature micronized light-reflecting pigments that will make your skin glow.
This is good for color correction, reducing acne scars, wrinkles, redness on skin, dark circles, and large pores.
You will love this foundation if you want a more luminous and powerful full-face coverage but still don’t give up the natural finishing.
If you are concerned about some skin problems such as redness, acne, dark spots, and a little too many dark circles, you will like it.
However, if you want a look that is even more natural and more of the day-to-day type, you should opt-in for the original or the matte version, as they will be more suitable for you.
In comparison to the original product, it is the same formula. Still, the Illumination version is more pigmented, meant for those days you want extra coverage.
Or, in other cases, if your skin needs extra coverage because of acne and pigmentations and you need something more powerful, this will be the best option for you between the three.
I can easily use the matte version for the day, and for a party or an event, I might use the Illumination version. But most of the time, I am happy with the matte.
Benefits to the skin in a long term
This is the time of product that will help improve the quality and texture of your skin over time.
This will leave your skin brighter, and many people reported they had their skin feeling like “a baby bum” LOL. That’s their words! haha
As it is a very hydrating Cream, you often don’t even need to wear a primer or a moisturizer before applying it.
