Now that you have the complete list of Olaplex products let’s explain them in a short, simple, and easy way.
Nº.0 Intensive Bond Building Treatment

Olaplex tells us that the Nº.0 intensive bond building treatment is an award-winning primer for the hair.
It works as primer or pre-shampoo and is usually (or should be) paired with the Olaplex Nº.3, the repairing hair treatment.
They have now released it in a spray bottle, which makes it much easier to apply without messing everything around.
The number 0 is a primer to number 3, and as it will successfully rebuild your hair bonds on its own, it needs the number 3 application to complement and boost the treatment.
It will also prepare the hair for the number three, so the subsequent treatment can penetrate deeper.
As a result, hair gets stronger and healthier.
Recommended Application:
- You should apply it on dry hair, making sure your hair gets damp and not completely wet.
- Wait for 20 minutes and then apply the number 3 treatment.

Nº.3 Hair Perfector Treatment
“Nº.3 repair the broken bonds internally, linking them back together again to create healthy bonds.” – Olaplex Site.
The Nº.3 Hair Perfector is a restorative treatment that will rebuild the bonds without the need to cut the damaged area off.
In reality, the Nº.3 is the at-home version of the Nº.2 saloon treatment. Combined with the Nº.0, it will be responsible for sealing hair bonds and restoring them from the inside out.
As a result, hair gets stronger, will stop breaking and falling, and will notice texture improvement.
Recommended Application:
After Nº.0 application, apply number 3 on damp hair and leave it for 20 minutes. Then go ahead and use the shampoo and the conditioner.

You should use The Nº.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner after the shampoo to restore hair-broken bonds, leaving it hydrated and conditioned.

Nº.6 Bond Smoother (Leave-In Styling Treatment)

Best Olaplex Products
The Nº.6 Bond Smoother is a leave-in heat protectant cream that reduces frizz, hydrates, and protects your hair simultaneously.
This product is ideal for repairing damaged hair, detangling, heat protection, taming frizzy hair, and breakage protection, and it is suitable for all hair types.
Product Application:
- Heat protectant: Apply just a little bit of the product on clean wet hair before the N7, just enough to cover your hair, then proceed with styling.
- I like to use it as a leave-in after washing my hair, even if I don’t heat style it.
Nº.7 Bonding Hair Oil

Best Olaplex Products
The Nº.7 Bonding Oil adds shine and texture while protecting and strengthening your hair.
You can also use it as a heat protector and combine it with the Nº.6 Bond Smoother for better results.
Product Application:
I like to use it every day before I go to sleep. I mix it with the N.6 for heat protection and a smoother hair straightening process.
Nº.8 Bond Intense Moisture Hydrating Hair Mask

The Nº.8 Bond Intense is a hydrating moisturizing mask that smooths and adds body and shine to the hair.
It is a great mask that repairs hair bonds from the inside out.
Nº.8 Bond Intense is a suitable masque if your hair looks dull and needs more moisture. The results are shiner, smoother, and improved texture on all hair types.
Product application:
Apply it once a week on clean (shampooed) wet hair, leave it for 10 minutes, then rinse it.
Nº.9 Bond Protector Nourishing Hair Serum

The N.9 is a detangling glossy textured serum that protects hair from heat and helps improve the malleability of all hair types.
I noticed it is also anti-frizz and makes the straightening process easier and quicker as the hair is manageable with more facility.
Also, it brings a lot of shine and prolongs the styling effect. I used it with the N.6 and the N7 and had great results.
Are Olaplex Products Really For All Hair Types?

Olaplex Reviews – Best Olaplex Products
Yes, they are for all hair types, but there are a few considerations before purchasing the entire line.
What Olaplex Products Do I Need? Must-Have Olaplex Products
Natural, Dry, Or Damaged Hair
If you have dry or damaged hair, you can purchase the entire at-home system as your hair needs them. You will get lots of shine, moisture, and restoration without any side effects.
For the shampoo, you should typically use the number 4 for all hair types, which is very nourishing.
Oily Hair
You may not need all the products if you have oily hair, as using them altogether may weigh your hair down.
Try to get started with the N.3 and the N.4 and finalize with N.7, the hair oil for shine.
You should use shampoo number 4 for all hair types sometimes, but I believe you will benefit more by using the clarifying shampoo to eliminate all the excess oil.
Blond & Colored Hair
If you have blond hair, you can alternate between Shampoos Number 5 for all hair types and Purple shampoo for blondes.
You need the number 0, number 3, and number 8 treatments if you color your hair.
To style, you can use bond oil and gloss, which will give a stunning effect on your hair.
Normal Hair
If you have normal hair, you can use the number 3 and then finalize with the hair oil, as I think these two products will leave your hair even more fabulous.
If you don’t need restoration, try using the hydrating mask, as it will leave your hair even bouncier and full of body.
