Have you been having problems falling asleep lately? I never considered adopting an evening routine, but I can tell you I can sleep much better after applying these eight simple things you can do every night, even if you are tired!

1. Disconnect
Around 8h or 8:30, I like to turn off all the digital stimuli, such as TV, mobile phone, and laptops. I also want to lower the lights and add blue light to help me get in the mood. Once that is done, disconnect from the day and your negative or toxic thoughts!
Cast aside any worry, frustration, or anything you need to resolve. It is not time to think about those things when you go to sleep. I like to remind myself that there is very little I can do (if anything) while I’m in bed, so there is no point in worrying about these things!
2. Shower + Skincare Routine
Wash off the day by taking a nice hot shower with a great body soap with your favorite smell. If you prefer, you can bathe; it is up to you. This is a great time to recharge! I also love to spray a light body mist with a calming essence or lavender.
To make things easier, I like to use a face and body cleanser to do my skincare at the same time; I also want to use a face and body moisturizing lotion, which is very handy, especially when we are super tired.
3. Tea Time
After a shower, having a camomille or any herbal tea you prefer is an excellent idea. You can also find plenty of “good night” sleeping tea in the supermarket. Here are some pictures of teas that are great for sleeping:

- Lemon Balm
- Ashwagandha
4. Sleeping Sounds
After that, I suggest a few things, such as meditation and relaxation songs, to enhance your sleep; for that, I recommend you use a service like Alexa so you can command these sounds with your voice. This way, you don’t need to go to the mobile phone. It also helps to prepare which songs or meditations you will listen to in advance.
5. Use Difusors
You can also use diffusers with extraordinary sleeping perfumes to impregnate the ambiance with a pleasant smell. Use 100% natural oils for relaxation and anxiety relief.
6. Mindfulness & Breathing
Please take a few deep breaths, inhale, and exhale do it again. Be present. This is one of the most important advice I can share here. Be present now, do not think about the future, and do not contemplate things you cannot resolve while sleeping. This is one of the greatest secrets for a restful night!
