Travel Airplane beauty essentials
These are the essentials for a long flight. If you are going on to flight for less than 2 hours, you can take a look at the list and pick something that you may think would be convenient.
- Hand moisturizer: I don’t know why, but traveling in general will normally leave my hands super dry. Last time it was pretty painful. Make also sure your nails are short, this way you can travel safely while carrying and transferring bags.
- Hand sanitizer: I like to use those before eating, it is very handy, but make sure to moisturize your hands after, because it can dry out the skin.
- Self-Heating Warm Eye Mask: These are perfect for relaxing especially on long flights, and help reduce puffiness and tiredness.
- Travel pillow: Makes me feel a little more relaxed.
- Travel-size Toothbrush and toothpaste inside a little purse.
- Small makeup: I tend to bring just the essentials, like lipstick, a clear eye mask, concealer, and stick blush.
- Makeup Remover: A travel-size makeup remover is convenient if you intend to wear makeup.
- Lip balm: I love lip balms. I recommend you pick a tinted lip balm, this way you do not need to carry on lipstick and lip balm, to save some space.
- Mini deodorant: Boy, last time I forgot my deodorant and I had to buy it, for extra money at the airport. Can you believe I was a bit smelly in my armpit (so I had to emergency buy one). haha
- Perfume samples: I love to pick up some perfume samples at beauty stores because I can leave them in my bag any time I feel that I need them.
- Mouth spray
Face & Body Skincare
I know we want to save up space in our suitcase. I can talk for myself, I hate to have heavy suitcases, so I’m sharing a very good trick to travel light and still have all your must-haves.
- Face & Body moisturizer: Save some space by getting one moisturizer that is suitable for the face and body. In the same way, opt for one that you can use both for your AM & PM Routine
- Face & Body Soap Washer: In the same way I like to have one soap that is suitable for the face and body.
- Facial Serum (optional): I normally don’t bring it, but I know some people like to treat some special skin conditions. Opt for a hydrating serum with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide as they are perfect for all skin types and will leave your skin hydrated and soft.
- Eye Cream: They are normally small and don’t take up too much space, so it is always good to have them, especially during the holidays when we tend to do way too much, to reduce puffiness and refresh our looks.
- Facial Mask Sheets: I confess I do not have patience for facial masks, but this is something I want to incorporate into my beauty routine especially while traveling, they can revigorate the skin overnight. The only problem is to find the time to do it, but I’m sure if you bring it, you’ll figure that out.
- Lips and underyes mask sheets: I love those as I mentioned before, with all the efforts of the travel activities they will help you look and feel refreshed.
- SPF Protection: Remember to bring sunscreen even if it is winter, as the UV rays will still reach your skin regardless the sun is exposed or not.
- Makeup Remover: It is best to bring a weatherproof one, just because they will be better to remove impurities and in case you like waterproof makeup.
- Thermal Water: This is an extra layer of care that is optional but you can use it after applying your skincare or before you have your makeup done for extra hydration.
- Body scrub
- Face Scrub
